Question about FP

I am currently in New Jersey(for a few months, my perm address is Utah) and I received a letter from USCIS on Saturday for FP to be done in Utah this Thursday, can I take the letter and have the FP done here in Jersey? If it is possible will I need to schedule it through infopass?

it depends on the manager of the site. you can certainly drop by and try your luck.

I have done it when I got the FP notice in 2004. I used to live in another state and I received the notice to my old address to do the FP in that state. I called the 800 no. and sent a letter to the older state INS office. The response was simply take the notice to the nearest USCIS office and do you FP. I did it without any problems.
BTW, madasylee you have exactly same ND as me. hopefully our cases are moving forward. I didn't see any recent change in LUD before Bio 3 was sent! did you?

I haven't seen any changes online since the notice for RFI was sent out.Infact I was suprised when I received the letter for the FP.
