Question about filling out AP form

Hi,

We are filling out an Advanced Parole (because my husband is stuck in %#*%$ FBI name check) but I do not know which one of these to fill out?

I am a permanent resident or conditional resident of the United States and I am applying for a reentry permit.

-OR-

I am applying for an advance parole document to allow me to return to the United States after temporary foreign travel.

I don't know if he is a conditional resident even since we have been approved and we are pending name check. I guess they should have an option that says "stuck in name check and need to travel!"

Anyway, not sure which one to check. If you know, please help?

He is not a Permanent Resident yet. In fact, he is "half" approved... until the FBI namecheck clears, he can not be approved and the approval date will be when that FBI namecheck clears... (tsk tsk, what did your dad do just kidding)...

An individual is either a PR or not. An AOS applicant, whether awaiting a missing A-file, or a pending background check, is not a PR, no matter how "close" is feels
So the latter option is the one you need to pick.

Anyway, not sure which one to check. If you know, please help?
