Question about filing 130 and 485

I was told the I-130 and 485 could be filed together since I am a USC and my husband can get an immediate visa number, but I am curious as to how to file. I was intending to file by mail, but each form has a seperate mailing address listed. Should I take them both to the closest USCIS branch (Boston) or mail them to one office together? This whole process is confusing me greatly. :p

You have to file all of them at Chicago lock box in one packet.

Hi Ami

Did you pay all the different fees in few consolidated checks [if the payee was same] or Did you make out several cheques as asked in each form?

Vikas

(2)I130
(3) I765

Help regarding question 21 in I-130 form.

Hi Ami

Did you file through a lawyer or you filled out forms by yourself. I just got married . My wife US citizen. We work and stay in two different cities. I am trying to relocate to her city.

I needed some help regarding question 21 in I-130 form.

If filing for your husband/wife, give last address at which you lived together.
(Include street, city, province, if any, and country), from (Month-Yr) to (Month-Yr).

-I just want to state the truth on the form about two different locations and explain about the relocation but fear that this may be a red flag for a marriage of convinience [though this has never been the case]

-Was your case similar to mine? If so it will be great if you could tell how you tackled the issue.

I sincerely appreciate your help

I have filed by myself.
My case is not similar to you. I can suggest you that you should always state the truth. May be you can attach a letter explaining the situation. If youe case is straightforward, you don't need a lawyer.

Hi I have a few questions too.
1. About the question vikas chopra asked does last address mean the one before the present one?
2. How do I attach photos to the forms? I got Acco binder for my package(like it says on Uscis.gov) but not sure how to attach photos, checks and medical exam to the whole package.
Please help!
Thanx
