Question about employment on Form N400

I have question about Form N400 that i would like to get clarification

Part 7 Information About Your Employment and School You Attended
  1. I was working on Job 'A' then there was a gap for 3 months (i was looking for new job) before i started working on Job 'B', Should i enter this gap as HouseMaker or Unemployed ?
  2. For last 2 years i am not working so that i can take care of my child. Should i enter this period as HouseMaker or Unemployed

Part 9 G Current spouse present employer
My husband is also filing his Form n400. Based on question 2 above, what should he write? Homemaker or N/A

Hello Lax4u,

It is always recommended to put in all of the information, even if minor, due to the extensive background checks USCIS engages in. Write 'unemployed' and also you provide information for the complete time period on the application.
