QUESTION ABOUT EAD, Please share your experience.

I applied for EAD at NSC with receipt date March 8, 2006. Now they are processing March 20, 2006. How long it is going to take before I get my card. I have not received any RFE.

You should call the service center and talk to someone out there. i don't think anyone out here in this forum would be able to give you an exact timeline. Goodluck.
 
jumbo12, my RD was 2/28 got approval on 4/29.

I found out couple of things that you can do.

1. Sometimes I feel the best thing to do if one works using EAD and does not get with in 2 months, better to schedule an infopass and directly talk to an immigration officer letting them know that you can't loose your job, may be that helps in speeding up to adjudicate your case

2. you can goto specific community center(s) in your county that has provision to help immigrants to do case inquiry / court appeals (These folks have direct telephone access to immigration officers)

3. You could call/Fax local Senator's Office to raise inquiry

Which service center you filed your 3 rd EAD and got approval?

I have the same case status like you I 140/485 filed 07/2004, I-140 approved 05/2005, applied for 3rd EAD 3/28/06 when will be the approval. Let us keep track of our cases..

He already got approval on o4/29...which service center did you file for 3 EAD?
 
qa13, Mine is NSC

Jr_Mithun, I applied 3rd EAD renewal on 2/28 not 3/28 got approved on 4/29. It takes an average of 2 months for the approval

Thanks for replying.
But I think I will just wait a few more days before calling. If I take into account your time I believe I am still in the range of 60 days. I can wait a few more days to see what will happen.
