Question about Certified Copy pf Marriage Certificate for NVC

Hey there,

I am sending the last package for my parents green card application to NVC which include forms DS-230 part I and II. In the list of documents they mention Original Copy of the marriage certificate or certified copy. My parent have sent me the certified translation of the marriage certificate and also a copy of that which has been stamped by the agency who issued the marriage certificate saying that it is a true copy. The stamp on the copies are not english but the certified translation and the copies are attached together and as I said before the copies are also stamped. Are these enough for the NVC or they will ask me for the original. I appreciate your help and answers.

Thanks a lot for your response. I have another question though. Why NVC insist that we we use the DS-230 forms that they send and not use the fillable pdf forms which is available on the web. I see no difference between the contents and even the year of the release of the forms.

Has anybody sent these pdf forms without any problem?

Submit a copy of original marriage certificate.
Submit original translation.
