Hello,
I have a question about being a public charge for my case :
1) I have an French Engineer degree
2) both my wife and I work in a managing position
3) we have no job experience in the US
4) we have 2 kids
5) we have enough money to go beyond poverty level
6) our English is good enough to work
7) we don't have any opportunity to get a sponsor
Do we really have to present a notarized job contract ? It's quite hard to get one from Europe.
We would prefer to convince Consulate we will find a job quite easily and that it is better to be a public charge in France than in the US ?
Are we taking chances ?
thanks,
