Hi,

I have been in the US since april 2001. I was in my company guest house from april 2001 to june 2001 in NJ and then got relcoated to CT. I had been at one address in CT since June 2001 uptil Dec 2002. I then moved into another apartment and have a new address since then.

I have not applied for an address change ever. I am also on the verge of filing my I-140/485.

I need to know if

1. Can I apply for it now since its been about 4 monts I changed my address.

2. If I can, what would be my old address? the first address of CT or NJ ?

3. How does applying / not applying for an address change impact green card processing?

Thanks

1. Apply AR-11 ASAP to intimate change of address to BCIS.

2. First address of CT.

3. Per law your are required to inform change of address to BCIS within ten days, so please inform BCIS ASAP. If BCIS find out that you moved to new address and if you haven't informed them then you could be deported.

1 Send AR11 Form (it is to be mailed at different address go to BCIS site), write all the past addresses including company guesthouse
2 Send letter to BCIS your service center, write on the cover of envelop in Bold “ Address change” they take time to update the address
3 Call up NCSC and provide your full name, DOB and A # if you have and other info to update your address
