Can I go back to my home country using AP under H1 status without EAD?
What ststus I have after entering US with AP under H1?

Here\'s the order:

1. If you have a valid H1 visa on your passport, use your I485 receipt and H1 visa to enter US.

2. If you have used your EAD to work, then you need to use both EAD and AP to enter US.
 
Actually EAD is not required for AP. AP and EAD are two different

things. I contacted my lawyer about this same thing, she told me that, you don\'t need EAD if you are entering in US using AP.
 
Modified Order.

If you have valid H1(&stamp) use H1. No need to show 485 receipt.

If you have AP (and H1 extension pending)you can enter using AP and then continue in H1

If you have used EAD, use AP to enter US.

AP is the travel document. IT is not necessary to show EAD or have EAD. Have a copy of 485 receipt in case your A# or something is misspelled in AP.
