will a treatment for tuberculosis or other diseases like bronchitis, asthma etc. in past /current be a detrimental factor for applying the GC?>?will it rejected?
a) when disease is presently ubder control
b) being treated for

what if information of past traetment not disclosed?? will it pose problem later on while applying citizenship?

Bronchitis and asthma are not the conditions they are looking for. Read the form and this link.

The Skin test or X-Ray will tell your physician if you need further treatment if you still TB positive or if you are okay. If you are receiving treatment from another doctor, he/she can give you a letter with proper documentation about your case, treatment and follow up and you take all papers for your medical exam so the physician knows what is going on.

I found this in a medical Q/A " Most people undergo complete healing of their initial infection, and the bacteria eventually die off. A positive TB skin test, and old scars on a chest x-ray, may provide the only evidence of the infection."

good luck,

If you were sick in the past due to those disease you mentioned but your tests turn out negative, then there is no need to worry as the Civil surgeon would approve your medical report and you are all clear. If you tested positive then the civil surgeon decides what the next course of action is. You might be put under medication or referred to another doctor or would be asked to follow up for a re-visit. This information would be recorded in your report and depending on the severity of the diagnosis, the sealed envelope would be given to you right away or after consequent followup visits. I dont think the GC would be denied based on medical grounds esp after the civil surgeon recommended the course of action and you have proof that you are following it.

P.S: It is advisable to be truthful about your medical conditions(past/present) to your doctor as preventive measures can be taken before it is too late. Never lie to your doctor or lawyer ;)
