Consider the scenario:

* You are a Perm Resident
* UK national orginally
* You are applying for n400
* You satisfy the 5yr 30/60 months lookback rule for residency
* You have 4 trips to the UK for 5 months at a time in the last years
* None of these trips have been more then 6 months

And:

* You have two Visas obtained whilst in the UK
* One Indian Tourist Visa
* One Chinese Visa
* You decided to travel to these countries whilst in the UK on a trip
* You left from the UK and retunred there

Question:

* Is there any issue with these Visa's not being obtained from the USA?

* Does anyone know if the Visa for India or China look the same globally?

* Will this be an issues in the n400 interview?

Welcome thoughts.

I do not think there is an issue. When you complete the N-400, you have to list the trips out of the US and for each, the countries visited. Thus you would list UK, China, India etc. I cannot imagine that the USCIS would care where you got the visas. It might raise a few eyebrows if your visits from the UK were to sensitive countries (Libya, N. Korea, Cuba etc.) but in your case .... surely not.

Note: As always, a layman's opinion, not that of a qualified immigration lawyer.
