qestion about expediting and Last updated Date

About a month ago, I requested expediting my RP application. The NSC rejected my request, but the letter suggested that I can submit another request if I can explain in detail of supporting my request.

Yesterday, I re-submitted my request by fax. I was wondering when I would expect an update on the "Last Updated".

Should be soon, though it is possible that they take action without that date being changed.

Uhmm... I was planning to seek help from my congress member if I don't get approve this time. I don't really want to ask for help too soon because I want to see how my second request would work out. I don't really want to exhaust my options too soon. Any thought on that?
