On for I-131, Pare 1, what will be the "class of admission" ?
My husband is filing I-131 for himself. He entered in USA as a studen. Rightnow he is on H1 B?
It may be a very stupid Q but I just want to be sure.
Thanks,

He should write H1 B (his current status)

Thanks Jane_green.
So it is not the way he entered in the country but it is his current status right?? He has never went out of the country on H1.

That’s right.

Here is an example: 10 years ago I entered with a visitor visa and had to write “visitor” and actual date of admission on every immigration form for several years.
Later, when my status changed, I wrote that new status on my I-131 and my new Application for Employment Authorization, even before I traveled outside US for the first time.
INS asks about your/your husband’s current status and date it was received,
not the very first one you used to enter US (unless you never changed it).

Thanks a lot.
It is clear like crystal.
