my RD is 9/13/01 , and ND : 11/9/01

INS never sent me my receipt notice and my lawyer said they have lost it in the mail. Recently I called INS to get a duplicate, as I came to know that Recpt. notice is one of the document reqd. for EAD renewal as a proof of AOS.

The shocking thing was the Notice date on the duplicate recpt. notice is July 2002. Now I am really scared , if INS go by this date for my approval, than I am gone big time.

Please any thoughts on this issue. I am still wondering the significance of this ND.

Call AVM@VSC and see what date does that mention.

I don't think you would be considered July 02 just for getting duplicate receipt.

Your file should be in the Sep 2001 pile/folder/cabinet.

Why don't you call IIO to clarify?
