Hello everyone. I am a little puzzled on what is going on with my case. Below you will find the message I get on USCIS's website.

Application Type: I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: Response to request for evidence received, and case processing has resumed.

On July 9, 2007, we received your response to our request for evidence. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. You should expect to receive a written decision or written update within 60 days of the date we received your response unless fingerprint processing or an interview are standard parts of case processing and have not yet been completed, in which case you can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. This case is at our NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

I called immigration and they said that I need to wait until OCT 9, so that 90 days have passed before they issue a track to see where my case is stuck.
Biometrics were done JUL 5. and I originally apllied May 29th.
Do you guys know what might be the problem?
Thank you in advance.

Anyone?

I was hoping that someone would have an idea as to why it is taking so long for me. What do you guys think?

Hi Fromme05:

Firts of all, we need to know where you are located. There are some busier offices than others.
I also had a RFE which was received on May 3rd 2007, I had this same message; and on June 15th, I received my Interview letter scheduled for August 14.
So, I would suggest you be patient, because I believe that because of the new fee schedule they had a lot of applications filed just before the closing date.
Don't worry, you will receive your interview notice soon.
I hope you are satisfied .

Well it all depends on your DO byt if I were you, I owuld make an infopass if it's been more then 60 days you have heard anything from them.
Good luck.

Thank you

Thank you for your responses. I am located in Orlando, FL. The message seems to indicate that it hasn't been transferred here yet, though.

I am also in Florida (Miami), it took 5 months in total for my case to be approved (May 12- August 14). I believe Miami Office is one of the busiest. So, be patient.
