Public Burden and Affidavit of support

Hi,
I am a dv-2008 winner and i am looking at the option of "having a job offer, form a usa employer" as proving of not being a public burden in usa for the interview, hopefully in March 2008. I have a B.A. in Mathematics and Bachelor of Sience from Califronia University in USA.
I was on F-1 student visa, and i worked one year as a phlebotomist in the hospital and my licence has expired( i can not renew it now) while i did optional practical training.

1.I know the chances of finding a job from oversees are almost sleem, but has anyone has had any chance with this or any sugession, website, forum i can increase my chances of finding a job while being oversees.

2. Since you have to proof that you will not be a public charge while you go to usa,can the income of my parents 10,000 euros a year, the house of my parents 40,00 euros, having a B.A. with honors, have worked before in usa may be enough to proof that you will not be a public burden in usa. If i presenet only this proof, what is the worse that can happen? They deny the application or they tell you to bring more proof?

Believe me,to come and work in USA has always been my dream and i can not risk by not providing affidavit of supoort. But in case i dont because i can't, i want to understand what are my risks.

I would really appreciate some sugession on this.

English, higher education and previous US work experience will be a huge plus. You may not need an affidavit of support or a job offer.

If it's not enough, the consular officer usually asks you to bring more evidence....

Thank you LucyMO

1. For the work experience what is better to bring at the interview:transcripts, tax returns,W2?
I was in the States from 1998-2003 on F-1 student visa and did OPT the last year, and they give IRS transcript only for the last three years (1996,1995,1994) What should i request from IRS?

2. Has anyone gone at the CP interview without sponsor from a US citizen or GC holder?

1) you should probably request IRS transcripts for 1998-2003.

2) my parents did. A lot of other people do as well.
