Public assistance and citizenship

If a permanent resident receives some form of public assistance (foodstamps, energy assistance, public housing,
etc.) will it create ANY problems applying for citizenship?
There is not a word on public assistance in the citizenship
application. What is the latest scoop on this?

As far as I know Good Moral Character,Physical Presence,Continious Residence and the lack of a criminal record are all thats required.

If a PR is on public assistance I don't think it impacts CZ .
