PT work on 1099 with EAD -Urgent

I am an AOS candidate. I have a valid EAD and working full-time for my sponsoring employer . I got an offer to work part-time
for another company.
That company is going to work with me via 1099.

Will working part-time( plus working full-time with sponsoring employer) on 1099, on EAD, cause any problems?

Please clarify ASAP. Thanks.
 
If you are using your EAD to work part time. Then you can work part time with another employer using your EAD.
This will not cause any problem.
 
If you are on H1 You will loose your H1 status. You will be on EAD. So next time when you enter US you need to use advance parole.
Always include your notice date and receipt date for I-485 and current status .

part time job using EAD

You can work part time or 2 full time job using EAD after I-485 pending for at least 6 months. The part time or second full time job has to be similar as your full time job. Let's say you are a full time electrical engineer, then you can find a part time electrical technician or teaching electrical staff but not working as a part time taxi driver.
 
Full time job: you don’t have problem as you are working full time with your employer on EAD.
Part time job: you CAN BE taxi driver or do any kind of part time job with EAD, no problems EAD is for open market employment.
