I am working with company AAA on H1 b.

Company XXX is sponsoring my green card processing as a prospective employer. I have never worked with this company.

The Current state of Green card is Labor Certification Approved, I-140 is approved, I485 applied and EAD and AP approved. It is more than 180 days after filling I-485...

Do I need to join the company XXX ?. When do I need to do that?.

Can I use protability to transfer my GC to Company AAA?.


Please let me know the issues I have now...

Yes, but not necessarily now. You can join either now or after your GC approval.

Yes, you can use AC-21 to stay with company XXX provided your job profile in XXX is similar to LC job profile.

It's interesting situation. USCIS can consider it as fraud, you will need to prove that your intent was to work for sponsoring company. Better to consult good lawyer.
