Projected processing time frame on Receipt Notice

Folks,

My RD is 10/30/01, LIN-02-042-XXXXX.

On my I-485 Receipt Notice it says: “It usually takes 330 to 360 days from the date of this receipt for us to process this type of case”.

The 360 days they are talking are about to expire. I don’t see any Oct.2001 cases approved yet.

Can you please share with me if you have the same message (330 to 360 days) on your Receipt Notice in case your RD is close to mine?

Also, in the online status it says: “If you have not received a decision or advice from the INS within the projected processing time frame, please contact the service center where you submitted your application”.

Does it mean we should contact IIOs right after this time frame is expired?

Thanks,

Marc

My RD was 10 days ahead of you and it had exactly the same message.

INS is the biggest liar, and as a non-citizen (even non-resident now) they think it is perfectly a good thing to lie to you. They don't care and what can you do. You have no rights. Not any.

I don't think calling them about this will advance anything. IIOs are trained to lie. Their job.

We need to have a demonstration in Washington. Only that may help.

My RD is oct 18, 2001

Marc,
I don't think it would really make a difference in the speed of processing of our application, should we call the IIO.

I think that we can guess what their response will be to our query. I have not seen any October '01 approvals either, so I assume that Nebraska is still busy with August, September, and the months prior to these cases.

Keep in touch as we share RD very close to each other.

Thanks.
