Dear Don Neufield,

There was a recent flurry of FP notices issued to WAC03 and WAC04 applicants. It is heartening to see CSC working on WAC03 and WAC04 applicants but this leaves WAC02 applicants in dire situation. We are questioning the rationale of ignoring WAC02 applicants and issuing FP's to later applicants.
Is CSC aware of the endless cycle of FP expiring every 15 months. WAC03 and WAC04 applicants getting FP means CSC wants to adjudciate applications in next 15 months, Does that mean CSC will adjudicate WAC02 before that? or is USCIS mulling a policy of abandoning second FP or only issuing case by case basis?
Please update on your finger print issuance policy in near future as thousands of WAC02 applicants are in a limbo.

AILA should ask this question directly during the liason meeting. But, seems like this stupid organization or lawyers is doing nothing. Speedy adjucation means less money...

RE: Adjudication on OLD WAC02 I-485 Applications

Dear Director Don Neufeld,

There was a recent flurry of FP notices issued to WAC03 and WAC04 applicants.
It is heartening to see CSC working on WAC03 and WAC04 applicants
but this leaves WAC02 applicants in dire situation.
We are questioning the rationale of ignoring WAC02 applicants
and issuing FP's to later applicants.

Is CSC aware of the endless cycle of FP expiring every 15 months ?
WAC03 and WAC04 applicants getting FP means CSC wants to adjudciate applications in
next 15 months, Does that mean CSC will adjudicate WAC02 before that ?
or is USCIS mulling a policy of abandoning second FP or only issuing case by case basis?

Please update on your finger print issuance policy in near future
as thousands of WAC02 applicants are in a limbo.

Also, don't forget your promise to my representative Anna Eshoo:
"to SIGNIFICANTLY increase resource allocations to I-485 adjudications
beginning April 2004".
Please keep your promise so that you can achieve your goal
"to reduce the processing time for Adjustment of Status applications
to 12 months or less by the end of September 2004".

Sincerely,

Apart from being unfair to earlier applicants, the process is ridiculous at times.
Check this out:
http://www.immigrationportal.com/showthread.php?threadid=119983

A 2nd FP notice for a case which has valid FP.
The case can be easily adjudicated based on RFE response without requiring a new FP.

This FP notice could have been sent to some one whose RD is past the AD listed and has an expired FP. Another missed chance to move a case forward. Waste of time, waste of resources.

I would also like to remind you that you won't be able to achieve your goal of
"to reduce the processing time for Adjustment of Status applications to 12 months
or less by the end of September 2004", if CSC keeps the current job scheduling
policy.
