You are doing a great job. Is it possible to add a column where you can show the total cases approved from the previous run?

I think that will help a lot.

Thanks
Hi, raojii2003,
Thanks for your suggestion,
but I can not add that feature right now because:
1) it's technically difficult due to the current data structure
2) not all cases but only a subset has been scanned since the previous scan, so the numbers of your suggestion are not consistent in the table.

As I post the table in CSV format, too,
you can put it to your spreadsheet
and create new table.
I think it may be similar to Silly Man's spreadsheet:

which means, it covers Jan 2002 cases, as well :).
Kashmir, ur the man!

Small suggestion: total of pending cases as a 1st column would be helpful. Total pending are total minus approved minus denied/withdrawn.
Also, maybe some misc cases can be treated as approved. For example,
"On ..., the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly... "

"On ..., the card or document we had mailed to the applicant was returned by the post office because they could not deliver it..."

These go now into misc cases.

Hi, ND022202,

Yes, you're right.
It covers:
Oct 2001 - 001..027
Nov 2001 - 028..054
Dec 2001 - 055..075
Jan 2002 - 076..100
(Feb 2002 - 101..105 not completed yet)

It might be useful, but
recently, I found that some cases once DENIED was changed to RESUMED.
I need some investigation about that.

I agree on your point about categories of MISC case status.
Once I tried to categorize MISC cases more in detail,
but I postponed that plan
because the number was relatively small and the current categories are based on off-patience's script, a kind of standarad at this forum.

Anyway, as I have kept all inquired status data with full description, it is ready for future modification.
I will re-investigate it some day.

My friend's case was also changed from Denied - Resumed - Approved. I don't have any details about his wac# and dates, but his case was denied because the officer looked at different I-140 which was denied.

His company has filed two I140s (EB2, EB3 may be..), one got approved and the other got denied as one was already approved.

So when I485 was denied his lawyer asked for reason, and when he found out the reason, he requested INS to reopen the case and luckily for him INS agreed.

well, thanks for the compliment, though, my contribution was insignificant to your project.
I'm using Excel script courtesy off-patience with little modifications, but my bandwidth is really small, because of dial-up.

Hi, jatyamla,

THe old version of Java does not support HTTPS.
I recommend you to get the latest one from http://java.sun.com/ .

No, you can not.
It's not limitation of Java nor my program but specification of Internet protocol and firewall.

Because nobody has not scanned WAC-02-151 series yet.

Try again with the latest J2RE as above.

Hey Kashmir, that CSV format you posted with zeros, could you do that every weekend as a regular feature? Then the graphs would make more sense :)

Hi, Silly Man,
Since BCIS seems not to be able to put all Friday (and Saturday if any) data by the weekend,
I changed the schedule of scanning all known I485 cases to Monday midnight or Tuesday early morning.

Anyway, I will try to keep posting the status table everyday,
but it's too big to post them as message here.
Instead of that, I will put it in CSV format at the first page:
http://www.immigrationportal.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=456536#post456536

I will post text version here when a large number of cases being scanned or when a large number of case status being changed.
Today, .. CSV version only, sorry.

Hi, Dec02,
There are two cases.
One is that case date does not have any I485 cases such as WAC-02-011 and 013.
Another is that case date has not been scanned yet, so I don't have data.

kashmir, what's the last case number in a serie. For example in a serie like mine WAC02032-5XXXX, is the greatest number WAC02032-59999 and the smallest WAC02032-50001.
I need this information for scanning
Thanks

Hi, logx,
Please check my previous post at:
http://www.immigrationportal.com/showthread.php?s=&postid=459407#post459407
But, my checking program might be wrong.
If you found a larger number(s), let me know.

It stars with 50001.
If it has more than 10000 cases, it has 6XXXXs.
Some numbers are missing.
