Well, I had the interview today. Had to read about 10 questions and say the answers out loud. The N-400 was reviewed and updated. Had to sign on a couple of places and also the photos.
Note: I was asked about the traffic tickets. I had already provided the copies of the court stuff. I was complimented on being thorough-the examiner said many people don't bring those docs.
Application was approved on the spot and an oath letter generated. The big bummer is that the oath is not until May 17! So more twiddling of thumbs for the next three months... The central Virginia district is painfully slow...
By the way, for those interested, they have only THREE examiners at the Norfolk DO. I saw about a dozen files on the examiner's desk. I don't know if they were all N-400s, but if that is all they do in a day's work, no wonder things crawl along.
