This is a great forum with lots of useful information.

My questions :

(1) Is processing time calculated from RECEIVED date or NOTICE date on NOA?

(2) Can one still obtain interim EAD after 90 days? How long does it take to get an interim EAD?

(3) I read somewhere that in Southern California, green cards may be approved before EADs. Anybody heard or experienced this?

2.- No.

3.- It happens, all over the place. Since processing is around 4 months now.

You can still make an info pass, and yes you can request adjudication of the ead, not the interim

I have read that some family based green cards in California have been approved BEFORE the EAD, thus making EAD approval a moot point.

Anybody else heard of this or have evidence of this?
