Processing Time vs. Visa Availability

Currently it is posted that it would only take 6 months for I-485 to be process at TSC. However, would this process time also depend on visa availability? I was eligible to file I-485 as of June 2007, then as everyone knows, the big foul up happened in July and the date was retrogressed. So...am I still accruing time towards the "supposed" 6 month?

In other words, does the TSC process time only applies to those whose priority is current?

Yes. If your PD is not current the 6 months will not apply in your case.

PD movement?

Hi,

what do you guys feel is going to be the PD movement in the coming few months?.. any chance of dates moving forward at all?.. or do you think its gonna become unavailable?.. if the latter, how long before dates move back to 2003/2004 for EB2?..

This is going to move Very slowly. Most of the backlog elimination center cases would have filed I-485.

Hard to predict movement of dates.
