The time it takes to become naturalized varies by location. Therefore, it is very hard to tell when one will receive their receipt notice, fingerprinting appointment, and interview date. It may take more then one year, again depending on the location. Nevertheless, it is good to see that those who have already gone through this process are kind enough to share their information with us. Please note that the INS is trying to improve the naturalization process and would LIKE to decrease the time it takes down to an average of 6 months.

We hope every one will continue to share their timeline, to help assist one another.

Thank you,
Homa
