Processing time for green card based on asylum

Hi everyone, How can I correct mistakes in our already filed I-485? It seems like my lawyers’ office staff mistakenly switched the roles of the primary applicant and the derivative in the category column. My error was corrected when I reviewed my application in response to the Request for Evidence (RFE).

When I asked about other applications correction, They mentioned that it appears to be in good condition because USCIS didn’t issue an RFE. However, if USCIS discovers this error during the adjudication process, will they send an RFE or deny the application? Is there anyway I can correct it?

if i were you, I would wait until the interview and discuss it there.

Why does the USCIS website still shows that it takes 15.5 months to process 80% of asylum-based I-485 applications?
I saw the news said that processing speed had slowed down significantly. Has the website just not been updated yet?

What news are you referring to?

This is done online.
My lawyer asked me for $250 to file a service request. This is because I'm having a delay in getting my green card through the application process. Is this amount exaggerated or not? I want him to do it so the process is more accurate and professional. What do you think of this?

You can do it yourself, it takes 5 minutes to fill out the form!

but he told me that he needs to talk to them by phone. this is difficult for me.
If you want to submit an inquiry, this can be done online — there's no need to call. If you need to request expedited processing, you must have a valid reason. You can ask a Tier 2 officer to call you back to process your expedite request.
