Processing Resumed DOESN\'T MEAN Case Assigned

Just wanted to make this clear to everyone.
Processing resumed on my case, but case has not been assigned to an officer yet. (as per IIO)

it might take a couple of months to be ...

assigned to an officer though. In my case the time period betn "processing resumed" and "Case Approved" was 3 and a half months. I had no RFE.

My AVM is "... your fingerprints have been received and arePending Review" since Dec 19th

and as per IIO it has been adjudication ready since 01.10.02.
So, even if AVM is not "Processing resumed.." case can be ready for assigning.

one of my friends

has the exact same message. He is WAC-01-276. He is kinda worried since ppl with WAC-01-296 have received their approvals already. Are you also in the 276 series ? I should probably ask him to talk to IIO too.

I am not sure the clock starts from the date "Processing resumed "or

from the date of Finger print received by INS... Bcos Earlier days Processing resumed message used to take place after a week of FP. But for me it took 2 months ????

My WAC 01-262-5XXXX

I am more worried than your friend. Almost everyone with WAC around mine have got approved/RFE\'d.

soi, dont worry ..

one of my collegue with RD June has not got approved/rfe\'d yet. he did FP in Dec. dont know more details.
so please hang on.

AVM message changed again after couple of weeks..

Strange, just couple of weeks back, AVM said On May 11th ur FP results was received and process resumed. Just today, it changed again to "On May 22nd, received ur FP results and processing resumed"!!
What does it mean?? Why do they have to update the same info. twice?? Does anyone know what is the significance of this??
