Hi,

I have an appointment at Toronto US Consulate on Monday 9/20/04 at 11 AM and I am reaching Toronto on Sunday night. I haven't taken notice of $100 to be paid at Scotia bank in Toronto. My friend is going to Toronto in next week.

My question is can I ask him to pay the $100 processing fee and get me the other 3 reciepts. Please help me and let me know if he can pay on my behalf and get me the reciepts so that I can take those reciepts and attend the interview straight away on Monday.

Thanks
Vishy

Yes; You could have someone else deposit on the treasurey account. MAke sure they use the correct account number on the slip.

BTW, can you post you experinece on your visa. I am planning to extent my H1 B When I travel there.

THanks

I have prevoiusly obtained H1B at Toronto and at Ottawa. In Toronto you will get more scrutinzed and some questions (like employment nature etc). For H1B, you shouldn't have a problem. Dress appropriate and just relax.

However, Ottawa is a very nice place to be. Plus I had a very good experince there. Given choice, go for Ottawa.
