What is the process for FP.Some people are telling that the assistant can put your 10 fingers on computer and get the thumb impression thru screen.Some are telling that they put some black paint on 10 fingers and take the each figer impression on paper.please post your experiences and what is correct process.
 
It depends on your ASC (where you go for FP)

All ASC\'s in the bay area do computer finger printing i.e they scan your finger prints and store it in the computer which then accessed by FBI directly and the results are sent back to INS(Everything is done online).

Some ASCs do manual finger printing i.e smear ink on all your fingers and take the prints on cards and they mail it to FBI. FBI in turn mail the results back to INS
