There is a good chance that your case will be approved without RFE, especially if you don't have dependents, didn't move, and your company didn't publicly announce major layoffs.
BCIS 'expects' to be informed about the use of AC21 provision, but this is not required or mandantory. Therefore, many people do not inform BCIS about their job change unless they receice a RFE.
It is a tough decision, but the downside risk of not informing BCIS about use of AC21 seems to be less compared to the alternative of volunteering this information and opening a 'can of worms'.
Please let me know what your lawyer suggests. My lawyer recommended to be quiet and to only inform BCIS in case of RFE.
