If I change to job after 180 days of I-485, need I send notice to INS or just wait until the RFE is required?

It seems it is possible the case is passed without RFE, is it right?

Thanks,

There is a good chance that your case will be approved without RFE, especially if you don't have dependents, didn't move, and your company didn't publicly announce major layoffs.

BCIS 'expects' to be informed about the use of AC21 provision, but this is not required or mandantory. Therefore, many people do not inform BCIS about their job change unless they receice a RFE.

It is a tough decision, but the downside risk of not informing BCIS about use of AC21 seems to be less compared to the alternative of volunteering this information and opening a 'can of worms'.

Please let me know what your lawyer suggests. My lawyer recommended to be quiet and to only inform BCIS in case of RFE.

helge,

my understanding is of ac21 is that it is not mandatory to informat the ins abou it. if INS sends out a rfe on your case, only then supply the information along with all the relevant documentation. This documentation should include cover letter about ac-21 also.

I just talked with my lawyer who is hired by corporation. She said the corporation's policy is to send notice, even revoke I-140 :( if corporation doesn't metion NOT revoke. (by default they will revoke).

If they send notice to INS that I leave corporation, need I show the new job offer immediately or just tell INS my new job when they ask RFE.

Thanks,
