Procedure for I-485 stamping in Columbus,OH

USCIS in Columbus,OH doesn't have Infopass appointment system yet.
Does anyone have I-551 stamping experience with USCIS,Columbus,OH?
What is the procedure to get I-551 stamp after receiving I-485 approval letter?
Will this office encourage walk in on any day for stamping?

I was NOT allowed to have early FP at Columbus, OH...and now...will appreciate to share your experience on I-551 stamping at this location...Thanks in advance
 
My experience was good at Columbus location.

We have our 485 2nd FPs taken almost 3 weeks in advance ( 10/8 vs scheduled 10/28 ) and also my spouse's EAD FP ( 10/8 vs scheduled 11/17)

We went in two times and they only had 3/4 people scheduled for that day and the whole office was empty. I guess it depends on their schedule and mood.
 
Mt wife an I did the 2nd FP at the Columbus office last week. This week I received a letter from the same office to come for FP in Dec. Only I have got it. Letter does not state that it is a re print or any problem with the previous one - Just requesting me to come and do the FP. Does any body have asimilar experience ?.
