procedure for filing GC for spouse

Hi..

I am in my 6th yr of H1B, and plan to get married this yr. Assuming I will be able to get H4 visa stamped for my spouse, what are the next steps for me to help
her get a green card.

My GC situation is EB3 Applicant
PD Jul 2003
140 approved, used AC21 switched jobs Jan 2005
485 pending

-------------------- Once she comes to US on H4 visa status you can file her I-485, EAD AP if the PD for you is current. Keep all her documents ready to file I-485 and read the Visa bulletin from DOS for PD

Thanks for your reply. Are you saying that once guest1978's wife arrives in US, her 485 can be filed and she can use guest1978's PD? Is that so? Could you please give some links?

---------Yes, becase she is spouse of poster and poster has filed his I-485 if his wife reaches US on H4 then she can file her I-485 when PD for her spouse is current(at this time backloged and may open in October)
