problems travel out of country with 485 approval and no stamping?

Hi,

Will there be any problems to travel out of U.S. and come back with AP while my 485 has been approved (approval notice not yet received by me or attorney), passport has not been stamped?

The reason is that many think once 485 is approved, AP is no longer valid. Then, what to use to travel if I have to? Anyone has similar experience?

Yes..there could be a problem

Once I-485 is approved, AP is invalid. You could have a problem. There is a big discussion about this in the main I-485 issues forum. Check it out.

What happens if

What happens if you do FP and go to India. While you are there you get 485 approval letter. Will there be any problem to come back on AP?
