Private company data in RFE - is it possible?

Hi All,

I am about to change employer using AC21, and trying to make myself ready in all ways I can think about. One question just pop into my mind:
Is it possible that RFE on I-485 calls for some kind of private employer-related information? Could USCIS requests some financial data which company does not have (and refuse) to make available for outsiders?

RFEs very frequently/commonly ask for financial information. If you are a public company- all of it is public alreeady. If you are a private co. you have to deal with your HR to provide that.

That's one of the reasons I opted for a public company over a private one (Although it's a bit scary - to be depend on a bunch of greedy ignoramuses (shareholders) and their even more greedy and sleazy representatives (BOD)... Just kidding! ).
But did anybody ever hear about the situation when financial documents a public company obliged to publish were not enough to answer the I-485 RFE?
