Priority Name Check

Please don't flame me if this idea was floated before. I did a couple of searches and nothing similar turned up.

For all of us whose name checks are pending since forever, the FBI should start a "Priority" program where I can fill out a form, pay some money ~$500 and submit to the FBI. They should hire some guys to work full time on this "Priority" cases. When this new hire picks up my form, he will work on my case till it is resolved, run the relevant searches (primary, secondary, whatever), lookup in all the relevant places (database, reports, whatever), talk to the relevant people (analysts, agents, whoever), make the relevant phone calls, whatever it takes, till the case is resolved. Oh, an online status would also be great too.

What do you guys think ? Right now, my name check is pending since Sept 2004 (I know there are worse cases and I Sympathize) but I don't even know what is happening with my case, any amount of phone calls, emails, faxes, letters are just telling me that they're "working" on my case.

How do you know you name check is pending

Are you EB2 or EB3? I filed around the same time but have not called VSC because the Processing date has not reached Sept 2004. How do you know yoru name check is not complete?

Good Luck to everyone!!!

Hey Harapatta

why just $500(becoz you can only afford that much), may be someone else will come up with $5000 since he can afford that for a 'superfast Priority' program.Come on man, i can understand your frustration as i too went thru it, but it doesn't mean you can leave your fellows behind and move forward on the basis of your $$$$$.

If you looked at the class suits filed against USCIS by Rajiv Khanna & many others, you understand there isn't much you can do to push the backlogs or other processings except by written memorandums/requests, whether they are effective or not is alltogether a different story.

Take it easy, not to hurt you but i hope your comments came out of frustration. Just my $0.02.

That's a good idea, and I wish you were the head of the FBI so that this policy can be adopted. :) :)

If H1 has premium service, why not name check? The extra $$ will allow them to add extra man power to reduce the backlog. Then FBI cannot use lacking of manpower as an execuse any more...

My idea for the extra money was to only remove from the equation the excuse of not having enough manpower. When I call/write the excuse they give is that they have xxxMillion cases to deal with and only yy number of analysts. Well, it is one of the functions of the FBI to provide other departments with records in time.

A former boss of mine used to say, if you can't do your job in time, it means you're either overburdned or inefficient. Either way, there should be a solution. I hope they realize the gravity of the situations that their actions (or inaction) put their customers (us) in. Sorry stories of guys (myself included) stuck in their lives because of this are too painful to recall.
