How does or will the Priority Date thing work.

I mean say current PD is Jan 1 2002. When will this go ahead. How many cases are there pending which has priority date before Jan 1 ,2002,

I have also heard that the PD will go back and not forward for some reasons, i never understood. Can somebody try to explain it here.

My PD is Sep2002. How long approximately it should take to get it current.

Can somebody throw some light on this topic and explain how this thing is going to work.

Let me know if you need help seaching topics in the Forum. All the questions you are posting by creating new thread, have been answered by others. You will get lot more info by reading over theirs replies.

Have fun. Read the post of Shakti Kapoor and enjoy. Laugh it out. Don't get very much senti about GC. Yes I understand the pain. You will not even get a pain killer for GC pain.

Just wait for a month or two, then we will come to know the pattern that USCIS is going to follow....Its too early to comment on how fast the PD will move forward... We can guess after seeing more and more approvals.
