Some Hope... Check this thread. the person who's PD 12/02 Got RFE on I-485.there might be some update in July Bul..

http://www.immigrationportal.com/showthread.php?t=177838

Wow!! Amazing. Even if this 12/02 RFE case forsees a change in Jul buletin, do you think they would jump PD to 12/02?
But then again, why should they work on a case whose PD is not even close to June 02?
Will have to keep an eye on that thread to find out what the rfe exactly is.

Getting RFE does not mean that they were going to approve that case.

RFE on 140,485 can not be considered......for any assumptions..

RFE's will be send any time on any thing. Approving retro catagories...on 485 is just a luck, pure luck nothing else.

As for as I see this thread http://www.immigrationportal.com/sh...ad.php?t=177838 ; it looks to me the I-140 is approved after issuing a RFE at the same time in a matter of 3 days. But what I do not understand is; how is this related to the EB3 retrogression issue and PD movement; its a I140 approval and not I485 yet?

His first post mentioned that 140 has been approved and rfe was on his and spouse's 485. However from his post a few minutes back, it appears that he got a rfe on his 140 and then approval on 140.

What will Happen to Worldwide EB2/EB3 and Other Categories?

See below Info fromMurthy.com

There is very less (%) chances that we will see dates moved in July visa bulliten....

I hate this crap......

What will Happen to Worldwide EB2/EB3 and Other Categories? ©MurthyDotCom
With the new addition of the Schedule A category to the June 2005 Visa Bulletin, it will be necessary to wait until the July 2005 Visa Bulletin to see if this Schedule A category has any immediate impact on the availability of EB3 worldwide visa numbers, generally. Improvement is fairly unlikely, however, as the Visa Bulletin recorded telephone message indicates that, for the remainder of Fiscal Year 2005, visa numbers for EB2 and EB3 cannot be taken for granted. The DOS recording advises that the quantity of visa numbers available in these employment-based categories will be extremely limited during the final quarter of the fiscal year, July through September 2005.

PD Jan 2003 Approved

Hello Guys

I was a silent reader of this thread. My priority date is Jan 2003. My I-485 got approved today. I am thinking that July post might have a big jump. I am in EB3 Category. I filed my I-485 on July 2004. Best of luck for u guys.

HI Karurk
Which nationality do you and your wife belong to? Are you sure you belong to EB3 which is affected by retrogression.

Hi Karurk
Was it a completely approved I-485 or a conditionally approved I-485(meaning you will get your GC when the PD becomes current)?

I-485

I am from INDIA. So definitely i am affected by retrogression. Status says that it is approved. It does not say it is conditionally approved.

Hi Karurk
What is ur profession that you quoted in your GC LC ? Is it related to Schedule A by any chance?

Woww!!! Congrats Karuk...Now you are the example of hope of ray in the tunnel of all of us who are affected by retrogression. Thanks for sharing your approval and would appreciate if you could list down all of your details about your category, PD, ND, AD etc in your signature so that they could refer to it directly on ur signature rather than looking in the msg....

Congrats and have a wonderful time....

"Hope of Ray" or "Ray of hope", No matter what, I suggest everyone to wait till you get the priority dates out. Don't hope for a miracle. Be practical, it will make your GC journey much easier.

In my case, twice VSC read my priority date wrong and put me into retrogression where I am current right now.

This might sound harsh but VSC has its own bunch of Jokers.

I must say karuk that you have a great Luck. Try your luck this weekend
in a nearby casino :)

Congrats Karurk....this is really good news for retrogression cases. I just hope it is not an arbitrary case getting approved by mistake....nah what am I thinking....CIS never makes mistakes!!!

Congratulations Karurk!!
This is definetly some good news for EB3 unless he is not mistaken with his PD. Karurk can you please post your signature here. Lot of us are excited in here.
Guys, is this the only post whose I-485 got approved which is effected by retrogression?
