Priority dates are current for all categories

just curious -- assuming hat my I-140 is approved, does it mean I can file I-485 tomorrow?.. I'm in EB3 category.
 
Hi ,Is it safe to travel India after applying for 485 in July.or should i apply for advance parole.Thanks in advance

Travel

Yes you can travel after filing 485 if you have valid visa (H1 or H4 etc). If you dont have visas then only you need advance parole.

I am also on similar boat, but little worse.

I got RFE (ability to pay) on my I-140, RFE is replied on May 15th, 2007.

Can you please tell me:
1] Around how much time takes to get decision of I-140 after filing RFE ?
2] As PD is Current, I HAVE TO WAIT TILL I-140 IS APPROVED ?
OR
I CAN GET EAD ?

You can file I-485

Based on what I know, I-485 can be filed based on a pending or approved I-140. so, you should be able to file I-485.

You can travel on H visa after I-485 filing. However please note if I-485 get approved while you are outside of U.S.A. - your H visa become invalid. Better travel on Advanced Parole.

How what should I do for COUNSELAR PROCESSING.

as per current condition where all Dates are CURRENT :

Counselar Processing is faster to get green card ? (how much time would take ?)
OR
EAD- I-485 is faster to get green card ? (how much time would take ?)
 
Filing 485 without having I-140 Receipt no

Hi,
I have filed I-140 and did not receive the receipt no till now.
Can I file I-485 in July without having the receipt no or is it mandatory to file 485?Can someone advice me.
