What is meant by Priority date?
How exactly this play role in the GC process?

I am always hearing about the RD of 485.

Please throw some light.

PD : is the day u filed ur GC to begin with
RD : Receipt Date : The date when your lawyer filed ur I485
ND : Notice Date : The date when ur I485 was noticed by INS
