Priority date??

Hi!
I was trying to track my I 485 application thru the texas tracking center. One of the reqd. fields was Priority Date. Could somebody tell me what that is and where I can find it? The Priority date on my Receipt notice of I 485 is blank.

Your priority date is the date you filed your labor certification, I believe.

Your priority date is blank becuase all the dates are currnet at all the Processing Centers.

It should be the date you start Labor Certification or I-140 without LC

1. the date your State Labor department received your LC application;
2. if you are not required to get LC, the PD is the date INS received your I-140 application;

My 485 receipt leaves PD blank also. Some people reported their 485 with PD filled in. On the tracker some people just put 485 RD in the PD date. I don't think that is accurate.

thanx mylvka! i guess i will have to ask my lawyer then for the date my LC or I-140 was recd.

if u file concurrently PD will be blank...Not 100 percent sure though but pretty sure

thanx texas! and m2002? what does it mean when u say that "PD is blank bcos all dates are current?" cud u explain it? i wanted the PD for tracking purposes.
