Priority Date vs Notice Date

Hi,
I want to know the difference between the Priority date, and the Notice date.

Do they process applications according to the priority dates or notice dates?

What if the Priority date is December 2001, but I-485 was filed in Jan 2003, what date would be used to process I-485?

It is processed by notice date. Priority date doesn't mean much these days since it is current for all EB categories.

If we were to use the current processing rate as a yard stick, you could expect your approval by end 2004
