Priority date question

My father applied for an EB3 based green card when I was 19 years old. However by the time he had gotten his labor certificate approved I had already aged out. Now I'm applying for an EB3 based green card myself and am wondering if I can use the priority date that my father had originally (March 2001). In addition I am his biological son and he did list me on his original application. Thank you in advance for all your help.

I doubt you'll be able to retain his PD because your petition is separate from his ... your prior petitioner was your father's employer, now it's your employer. However, you may get a better response to this in the EB sub-forums!
