"Priority Date" field in I-485 receipt

Does anyone know if this is always blank or on what situation this would be left blank?

My I-140 was approved prior to filing AOS. But, the priority date is left blank in the receipt!
 
Mine is Blank too. I don't know if thats how its supposed to be. Although, they use the same form for notice for all the other applications so it might be that the PD is associated with the 485 through 140.
What about others in the forum?
