Printable form

Has anybody used the downloaded DS230 form ?. Since it is fillable, did any one have filled-it using computer?.

Reason why I am asking is, last week a friend of mine, did download the form, typed it , printed in both sides, and sent to NVC. He had the packet 3, however he did not use the forms that NVC had sent.
He mailed the form last week and yet to know the outcome.

Just curiouse if it worked for anybody else!.

I typed on the downloadable DS 230 form and printed the completed form. When my sttorneys got the p3 from nvc they took the bar code sheet and included the ds 230 form that i had filled and returned the packet to nvc for review. This is what most cp applicants do proactively to save about 2 weeks of time sending p3 papers back and forth.
