Primary using EAD, derivative on H1

Hi,

I(primary) filed for I-485 showing my husband as derivative. And my husband has also filed I-485 showing me as derivative.
Till now both of us were using H1 visa .
But from next week, I will be using EAD and he will still be on H1.

If I use EAD then can he travel on his H1 or does he has to apply for AP ? I know I can travel only using AP.

Since you both hold H1 your status are independent of each other. So it should not affect
