Primary on H1 and Spouse on EAD ?????

To Immigration Gurus

I AND MY SPOUSE GOT EAD CARDS.MY SPOUSE WANT TO USE EAD AND I WANT TO STAY ON H1.Do I need to use EAD (i being Primary Applicant) for the sake of my
Spouse EAD USAGE?

Can I STILL stay on H1 if spouse uses EAD and will my H1 will be cancelled
if the spouse uses EAD?

Let your Spuse apply for SSN(for Work Authorization) and start

She can apply for SSN(for Work Permit) should be clearly mentioned on
SSN card and she can start. You are not affected any way. Only if you change your employer now then you NEED to work on EAD(if the 180 days)
rule you have met.

If you want you can ask your employer to update the I-9 form with EAD info

You can update your employer to update the I-9 form of yours with EAD info and continue working. Also only if your H1b is expiring or expired then you have to worry, else you are fine for now.
