Primary approved, still waiting approval for dependent

My 485 is approved but I am still waiting for my wife's approval. Does anybody have any experience in this regards. If you encountered this issue before, could you please share your experiences.
 
Could be name check. there is no need to approve both together, although it makes more sense.

In any event, now that it is august, I would not be holding my breath for approval until at least October.
 
Any BEC Labors 485 approval?

Any BEC approved labors (01/02/03 PDs), getting their 485 approved? I believe service centers should take up those cases first, since they have been waiting the longest in this long and unpredictable journey that we all are in.

Of course. A dependant case is the same as a primary case, except that it has one more step to go thru which is approval of primary. My spouse and I generally schedule 2 meetings for our cases.

At Infopass appt, agent will tell the dependant why his/her case is stalled. Even if it is not stalled, the answer will at the very least be 'quota has been reached for fiscal year'. But hopefully the officer will give more info.

There isn't much rush, though
 
I have InfoPass appointment for this 10th for my wife and son's pending 485 application. Shall update later.

yeah, got approval notices and the I-551 ("green cards") for my spouse and myself starting July 18 onwards. Just got the status change of welcoming new resident for our son today (after 3 weeks) - go figure!!
 
you should have your wife call USCIS

same thing happened to my friend's wife case. She called USCIS and her case is approved on the next day
