Primary approved. Secondary not approved. Is it ok, primary change job?.

hi,
primary is approved about 3mths back and the secondary is not approved. Is it ok for the primary to change jobs or any restrictions?. Please advise. thanks for all your help

No worries on the primary changing jobs, the secondary should be receiving the approval notice shortly. If you don't hear from them inside 30 days, you might want to kick of an inquiry.

Well .... the question of EB GC applicant(primary) changing job after approval comes up so often here ....
and the opinions are as many as the posts themselves....

One of the views is that changing jobs after about 6 months is preferred.
There are others that say that there has been no real problem changing jobs immediately.

Am not sure there is really anyone that landed in trouble for changing jobs soon ....

So the final deal is this: if you think this job opportunity is really too good to pass up, go ahead and take it.
If the offer is not that big a deal and you think that its something that you can easily get again, you may want to wait till its atleast 6 months past approval.

Either way, I really don't think it should negatively effect the dependent's approval.

Thanks for the reply. Before GC we are allowed to change

in EAD but after GC we are not allowed to change. Is there anyone got into any problem?.
