Primary approved, dependant(s) pending

I just thought it might be a good idea to track our spouse/childrens I-485 cases in a separate thread. Please post your information if the primary applicant has been approved and family members(s) are waiting.

I have talked to a USCIS customer service agent today. She said my spouse's case has been assigned to an officer (meaning NC & FP cleared?) and there is no RFE at this point. She could not say how long it is going to take. All my GC-holder friends had their and their spouse's approvals together on same date. Not sure what could be the hold up in our case...

Primary approved: Mar 27, 2006. Card received: Apr 1, 2006
Last LUD on spouse's case: Jan 17, 2006

Congrats on your approval. Although most dependents get approved along with the primary applicant it is not always the case. Since you wifes case has been assigned to an officer the approval should not be far behind. This is assuming that there is no RFE on the case and all other checks are complete. I am pretty sure that your wifes case will be approved shortly.

Dependents approved

Dependents on our case were approved today.

Spouse email reads: "On April 6, 2006, the card order was completed and we mailed the applicant's new card directly to him or her"

Daughter reads: "This case has been approved. On April 6, 2006, an approval notice was mailed. If 30 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address."

Will update when cards received.

Primary approved: Oct2004
Dependendts 485 filed: July 2004
FP for dependent: sep2004.

Waiting for sdependents approval.
